Tips To Control Stress
Stress is one of our worst enemies. You can be stressed because you have too many things to do or because you have a lot of free time. All extremes are bad.
In both cases, you must implement tools to de-stress and achieve the necessary stability that allows you to continue with your daily activities. Stress causes or accelerates many diseases so you have to manage it.
There are some simple things you can do that will help you control this disease that many times tries to take control.
Use an agenda
Now it is very easy to access an interactive agenda. Your phone probably has a calendar where you can write down your important activities. If not, you just need to download one and install it. These agendas are great because they notify you half an hour (or the time that you schedule) before the scheduled activity begins.
This first step is one of the most important, because stress is often born from a lack of control. How many times has it happened to you that you start an activity in the morning and finish it several hours later because in between you started doing other tasks?
It is essential that you write down everything you have to do, even the simplest things, in this way you will avoid, for example, arriving home without having made the purchase. Knowing what to do most of the time will avoid the stress of making decisions.
Take breaks to distract your mind
Most of us tend to think that working hours are a good indicator of our productivity. The reality is not so simple and our concentration has limits. If we overcome them, we will start to make mistakes and what is worse, our mood will probably get worse. A good idea so that this does not happen can be to take 10 minutes of rest every 50 minutes of work.
Try to focus on another topic. If you cannot solve or deal specifically with the issue you are looking to solve, leave it for a while. Surely when you are thinking about something else, distracted, the solution will come to your mind. It is good that you take distance and allow your mind to distance itself to see things from another point of view.
Make music your best companion
The music can help if you know how to use. There is music that will help our mind relax and disperse, on the other hand there is another type of music that will favor our concentration and attention.
Although there are general guidelines and playlists configured for each moment, it is best to try them since each organism is different. Thus, the music that helps me to release the accumulated tension can help you in any task you want to do.
In addition, if we want to use music while we work, the best thing is to use it, at least at the beginning, in those more systematic tasks. In complex tasks that require all our ability, with rare exceptions, music acts as a distraction.
Finally, we all know the potential influence that music has on our mood. Thus, we can use it to act directly on this and indirectly on stress.
Do an activity that you like
Now that you have the main thing organized and written down. That you are freed from your worries and that the music is helping you, it is necessary that among the obligatory or unpleasant activities you include an activity that you like.
Remember that your time is a value and that for this reason it is not necessary that we go after it all the time. The activities that we like give us a necessary respite and reconnect us with ourselves.
Also, do not forget from time to time to improvise or include yourself in an activity that you have no idea when it will end. You are in control but that does not mean that you are a repressive machine of your desires or that you have to be condemned to a squared and spartan life.
Put the routine on your side
Try to adapt reality to generate in you the greatest possible sense of well-being. By this we mean that there are people who feel very comfortable in a routine and there are others who do not. Get to know yourself and do not deprive yourself of establishing your level of routine in the place that is best for you.
That it does not catch you and but that you do not feel inside a temporary disorder that is capable of producing a great dizziness.
Ultimately, being smart when it comes to organizing or disorganizing your time will reduce the chances that chronic or acute stress, along with its fatal consequences, will appear in your life.
